Running Log – 16 Feb 17

Nice morning run along the traffic of suburbs. Got out of the bed and head for the road straightaway without any “fuel”.
Jogged up for some 10 minutes and then took it up a notch (just a notch) until the end. Intended to run like that, slower, lighter and peacefully. Felt great! The old ankle doesn’t hurt anymore.

        Ah! Sprained ankles – the curse of the runner!

        I had a brief scare today while helping my sister move – Twisted my ankle the wrong way and for like 10 minutes I was terrified I wouldn’t be able to run for a while.

        Turned out fine, but still gave me a fright!

        Glad yours is doing better and congrats on the park run!

        Umm yeah, it’s a curse but if you’re doing some work on that before or after the runs, it should be just fine. You need to listen to your body ALWAYS and it will be a slave to your running fantasies 😀
